About Markets Maverick
Markets Maverick is a trading and investing education platform in Malaysia: courses, live seminars and webinars, a trading simulator, a trading journal and a community of learners. We teach Smart Money Concept (SMC) price action and FCPO (crude palm oil futures) trading, in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Our founder
Nor Azam Budin, founder and Managing Director
A Malaysian trader and educator with more than 15 years across equity and commodity markets. He started in gold and forex in 2009, moved into equities from 2011 and has traded FCPO futures since 2016. He has run seminars and training programmes since 2018 and graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
He is a Marketing Representative registered under RHB Investment Bank Berhad (since 2022) in line with the Securities Commission Malaysia guidelines, and a national trainer endorsed under Akademi Kenegeraan Malaysia (Prime Minister's Office).

- FCPO futures: how the market works, trading sessions, contract basics and how to open an account.
- Risk management and trading psychology: position sizing, discipline and keeping a trading journal.
