• Payment information — processed directly by our third-party payment processors (Stripe and Chip) for platform subscriptions and purchases. We do not store your card numbers on our servers
• Affiliate referral information (if you registered through someone's referral link)
• Bank account details (bank name, account number, account holder name) — provided voluntarily on your profile if you are an approved affiliate, Certified Partner, or an educator who organizes paid seminars, solely so we can pay out your commission or seminar revenue share
• Content you submit to our AI-assisted features — including chart screenshots uploaded for Trade Ideas drafting and messages sent to our AI trading assistant
• Book Library reading data — including your reading progress, highlighted passages, and personal notes on books you own
• Your delivery address and phone number, if you purchase a physical product (such as a physical book) that requires shipping
• Your phone number, if not already on file, when you register for a paid seminar or webinar — collected at checkout to help us contact you about the event

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and manage your account and our services
• To process subscription payments and confirm course/seminar registrations
• To send confirmation emails, notifications, and service-related communications
• To calculate and manage affiliate commissions
• To improve the platform and user experience

4. Marketing Communications

We will only send you marketing communications — updates, promotions, and similar messages via email or WhatsApp — if you have given your explicit, separate consent to receive them. This is optional and distinct from accepting these Terms and this Privacy Policy, which is required to use the platform. You can give or withdraw this consent at any time from your Profile page, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect service-related communications (such as payment confirmations, course/seminar updates, or account notices), which we send regardless as part of operating your account.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Information may be shared with:

• Our payment processors (Stripe and Chip) to process transactions
• Our email service provider to send account-related notifications
• Our AI service provider to process your messages and uploaded content for AI-assisted features, such as the AI trading assistant and Trade Ideas drafting
• Legal authorities where required by law
• Courier and delivery partners (such as our shipping/logistics provider) to fulfil delivery of physical products, including physical books

6. FCPO Account-Opening Referral Service

If you use our FCPO Account-Opening page to express interest in opening a Futures Crude Palm Oil (FCPO) derivatives trading account, your name, email, phone number, and state are collected through a form hosted by OnPay, an independent Malaysian form and payment processing provider. If you proceed with the application, you will be invited to submit supporting documents (such as a copy of your IC, bank statement, salary slip, EPF statement, or income tax assessment) directly to RHB Investment Bank Berhad, a licensed capital markets intermediary regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia. This information is collected on behalf of, and shared directly with, our Licensed Marketing Representative and RHB Investment Bank solely to process your account application. We do not store copies of these supporting documents on our own servers. RHB Investment Bank — not Markets Maverick — is responsible for your account, your funds, and your trading activity once opened; please refer to RHB Investment Bank's own privacy policy for how they handle information you submit directly to them.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures (encryption, tiered access controls) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us to make such a request.
